News and accomplishments from the first year of the ThrombUS+ Horizon Europe project. ThrombUS+ is a medical device that incorporates wearable ultrasound hardware, impedance plethysmography, and light reflection rheography for immediate clot detection and prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
The ThrombUS+ Horizon Europe project was presented at the 9th European Medical and Biological Engineering Conference (EMBEC) in June 2024 by project manager Stylianos Didaskalou of Athena Research Center.
